On your bottom bar there is an options button. You’ll find options for your resolution, effects, sound options, looping music, hiding names etc.Too much to list so I am including screen shots. And again you will find many familiar options. Key mapping is also available

Upon launching the game you are faced to make a choice between two factions Elyos and Asmodians. Once you choose the faction you can not create character of opposing faction unless you delete all characters under the opposing faction.
