To continue playing your European account after the transition, you must consent to allow the transfer of your account information from NCsoft^® to Gameforge. If you agree to transfer your account, you will receive veteran status (special rights) in the free-to-play version of Aion.

Basically from February 2012, Aion will be switching to a free-to-play model. The monthly subscriptions will be dropped and the basic game content will be available to you for free from the start. Additionally, we will be offering special packs that offer you further liberties: for example, opening your own store and collecting an unlimited daily amount of aether and essences.
The existing players have special reason to be happy – they will be rewarded for their loyalty and can look forward to bonuses!

At the same time as the switch to free-to-play comes a change in publisher. In Gameforge, NCsoft has a strong partner at its side in order to further develop and constantly improve Aion. The Gameforge team will not only be responsible for the new servers but will also take on responsibility for the operation and support of the game. We are always open to questions, suggestions and criticism, with the aim that we can mould Aion to incorporate your wishes.

Please Note:

If an account qualifies to be reactivated, the player should be able to log into Aion from the game client. The main account status page will not reflect the reactivation status. Players who feel that they qualify for reactivation but cannot enter Aion through the game client can contact Customer Service.
In order to qualify for reactivation, accounts must be in good standing (not currently banned), and have a retail code applied. Inactive players as of September 15, 2011 (at 12:00 AM PDT) are not eligible.

In addition to the excitement surrounding Aion’s anniversary, Aion recently celebrated the launch of patch 2.6, featuring the Crucible Challenge (a new Solo Instanced Dungeon), and the addition of the Auto Group system. 2.6 also boasts the following:
- New Godstones from the Crucible Challenge!
- Fabled Loot Chests from Fire Temple and the Steel Rake.
- Runaway Poppy; a new production pet with a chance to produce Platinum Medals!

Aion continues to evolve with each content update, and while patch 2.6 launched just last month, patch 2.7 is on the horizon and coming in the near future. 2.7 introduces several features, including the Crucible Coliseum, a new PvP arena where Daevas can face each other in single combat, or in a ten Daeva free-for-all.
2.7 also overhauls the Padmarashka encounter, tuning it for smaller Alliances, and adjusting the mechanics to be less…Daevastating.

To celebrate the anniversary of Aion’s launch in North America and Europe, the Aion Production Team has come up with a host of events to commemorate the occasion.

Main purpose for warehouse in aion.

Items that you do not wish to sell, but also do not want to carry with you everywhere, can be left in your Warehouse. When you find a Warehouse Keeper, you can access your  Private Warehouse. Just like selling or trading, you can either drag the items to the storage area or right-click them from your inventory.

Well thee are several type of warehouses spaces in Aion and also options to manage with them. lets take a closer look at them

Your Main Warehouse.

As you probably quickly guessed, the warehouse is a convenient place for you to offload items that you want to keep but not carry.  There are several situations in which you will not be able to place items inside of your Private Warehouse. These items are most times associated with quests, but there are several exceptions that just can not be stored in the warehouse. These items will tell you where they can be stored.
Account Warehouse

Playing alternate characters on your account is a great way to experience the entire game. Plus you may have a need for a specific character in grouping. It is only natural that you would want to keep some the best items for yourself. The easiest way to transfer items between characters is to add them to your Account Warehouse section. Again, there will be some items that can not be added to your Account Warehouse section.

In order for your legion to grow, you will need a place to collect your funds and items for the good of the legion. Those who have the proper permissions, can both deposit and remove items from the legion warehouse. It works the exact same way as the regular warehouse. That is to say that you can drag and drop or right click to move items around.

You will have the opportunity to expand the available space of your warehouse. You can have up to 64 spaces in your warehouse. In order to gain more space you click on Expand. Depending on the state of control in the Abyss, the amount you pay to upgrade each level of your warehouse will change. At this time you can only have 16 spaces in your Account Warehouse.
